Sincere tributes to renowned kitchen and bathroom installer Redditch
HEARTFELT tributes were paid to a popular kitchen and bathroom installer from Redditch who died at the age of 44.
Gavin Beecheno, team leader at TH Developments in Redditch, died at Royal Worcester Hospital on September 6 after spending just over three weeks in hospital with Covid-19.
Hailing from Dudley, Gavin was a popular figure with his colleagues, who described the country music enthusiast as a “gentle giant.”
Colleague Jilly Pemberton said: “He was a big brother to all of us, he was a gentle giant. He was super laid back and loved Dolly Parton. The customers loved him. He was an integral part of the team.”
He was a familiar face of the business and was well known for sharing his love of music with his clients.
Gavin’s colleagues at TH Developments and Kensi Hope on Hewell Road were devastated by the loss of their friend and colleague, who had worked at the company since August 2019.
In a moving tribute, his colleagues said in a statement: âIt is with a heavy heart that we tragically lost one of our precious colleagues.
âGavin was not only a colleague, but we were all honored and proud to call him a friend as well.
âEveryone Gavin came in contact with was smiling, laughing, listening to his country music, and had nothing but nice words to say about him.
“Gavin was part of our family and he will be missed so much.”
They added that Gavin had “touched the hearts of many” and that those who knew him would always remember him.
His colleagues also thanked the staff at Alexandra Hospital in Redditch and Worcester Royal Hospital for the care they provided to Gavin.
They added, “Our loss is heaven’s gain brother, fly high G Man.”
